19th July….. what happens now

We have discussed at length our procedures going forward and the following measures will still be in place
Masks are not required but if you still want to wear one whilst indoors that’s fine by us. Our customer facing staff will still be wearing theirs for now
On arrival we would still ask you to wait for a member of staff who can seat you or direct you to the correct area
We now only require contact details for one person in the party, this applies to walk ins aswell. We will still be displaying our Track & Trace QR code so you can still check in using this if you wish
Table service for drinks will continue for the foreseeable future, it’s been so popular we think this will be a permanent fixture so we will be implementing measures to improve this even more over the next week
Our staff will continue to take lateral flow tests
Our hygiene measure will still be 5 star as always
We will be installing screens at the bar. You can order at the bar should you wish to but for now we would ask you not to stand or sit at the bar. We will have plenty of standing room in our garden areas
Groups sizes have no limits but we can’t always accommodate large parties. If you would like to book a table above 6 please just contact us directly
You can still book tables for drinks in our marquee and the opening times outside will stay the same
Please respect our staff, they are working so hard at the moment and whilst the majority of our customers have been fantastic some have been incredibly rude and abusive to our staff. This is not acceptable and will not be tolerated
Once again a massive thank you for all your support and understanding over the last 18 months - it’s been the most difficult time we have ever know but we are proud to say we got through it with your help

We have now reopened in line with current guidelines
 
Our Garden Marquee is avaiable to book and all tables are distanced 2m+
 
Guests will stll need to wear masks whn entering and going inside to the toilet, whilst outside masks dont need to be worn
 
All food and drink is table service only
 
EVERY members of your party must check in with the Test and Trace app - please ensure you have all downloaded this before your visit

***UPDATE 22nd SEPTEMBER***
 
After today's announcement we would like to reassure all our lovely customers that the safety and welfare of customers and staff alike is still our top priority We don't need to make many changes but from Thursday the 24th some things may be slightly different
 
*Our opening hours will change - we will be closing our doors at 10pm every day - our last restaurant booking will be at 7.45pm with all orders to be placed by 8pm
 
*Track and trace will continue as we have been doing, however you will also have the ability to scan in on the NHS Track and Trace app with our own unique QR code
 
*All staff will be wearing protective face coverings, customers will also be asked to wear face coverings when not seated at their table
 
*There will be no change to service - please wait for us to seat you and we will look after you from your table
 
*Our maximum table size is 6 people, once local lockdown is lifted this can be from 6 different households (currently one household plus bubble)
 
*If you want to come in just for drinks we would love to see you - booking is not needed, we happily accept walk ins for drinks
 
We will continue to keep up our standards of cleanliness and hygiene and we also have some small plans to tweak our venue to make it even better!
 
We would once again like to thank all our amazing customers who have been so supportive and understanding - we couldn't have got through this without you all, we truly appreciate each and every one of you.

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO BE ABLE TO RE-OPEN OUR DOORS AGAIN ON THE 4th JULY
 
Booking is not essential, but we would highly recommend as we now have a very limited capacity and when this is reached we will operate on a one in one out basis
 
We would like to reassure you that the safety and health of our customers and staff is paramount so we have been very busy for the last few weeks cleaning and implementing some changes so things are a little different now:
 
We now have a garden marquee where you are able to enjoy our full range of beverages and bar food – ordering and payment is via an app so completely contactless
 
WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO
 
All of our surfaces and furniture have been sanitised and steam cleaned
 
Every single wall and even ceilings have been treated with antibacterial wash, steamed and repainted
 
All soft furnishings have been steamed and treated
 
Staff will now have their temperature checked on arrival to work - any staff member who is not fit to work will be asked to isolate for 2 weeks and required to administer a COVID 19 test before they can come back to work
 
A COVID-19 risk assessment has now been completed and all risks identified and procedures to minimise risk implemented
 
All staff have completed COVID-19 training courses and will also have on site training prior to re-opening
 
 
WHAT TO EXPCT WHEN YOU VISIT
 
Visits with multiple households must now consist of ‘Bubbles’ inside and up to 6 of ‘non bubbles’ outside
 
At least one member of each party is required to register with us, if you have
pre-booked don't worry we will already have your details.
 
If you haven't booked then simply log onto our WiFi or register on our App to order
 
Sanitiser stations have been set up throughout the pub for you to use

There is now a one way system throughout the premises, please follow the marked arrows
 
All our doors and windows will be open when possible to allow maximum air flow throughout the building
 
Toilets - one cubicle in ladies and gents is available- one in one out. Please distance and wait until cubicle becomes available. Please sanitise hands before and after visiting the toilets
 
All guests inside MUST be seated at a table - sorry but this means no standing or sitting at the bar
 
Please don't seat yourself, a member of staff will be available to greet you and they will show you to your table
 
Please don't move any chairs or tables yourself, our new layout is sticking to
the distancing guidelines and tables and chairs must stay where they are
 
Menus are single use and will be disposed of after every use
 
Cutlery will be stored in sanitary conditions and only brought out with your food
 
Please don't be offended if we ask you to remove your mask - this may be for Identification purposes
 
We have a very strict limited capacity and will not always be able to  accommodate everyone so if we cant fit you in - we wish we could but if we are at capacity then it will be strictly one in one out
 
Please be courteous to our staff, this is all very new to us and we are doing our very best. Any antisocial or rude behaviour will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave
 
Please be respectful of our neighbours when outside and keep noise levels acceptable
 
Contactless payment preferred but we can still accept cash
 
Lastly and most importantly: Please respect others and their personal space
